Summer vacation is officially here! This may be the most timely vacation of all time. We have busted out butts for the past month and a half and have seen amazing fruit. Tonight was the perfect ending what was a great summer. Its weird to talk about the end of summer in July but when I return from San Francisco the Fall rush will be in full swing. I was hoping to have completed some of my 12 incomplete posts but that will have to wait. Just stay tuned for posts on my least favorite Christian song, friendship with God, poor confidence, football season preview, sneak peek at upcoming sermons, and some sweet vision sharing for what God has been speaking about the fall.
Any ways… the long and short of this is work hard, play hard and rest hard. For the next 7 days I will be resting hard. Resting hard with Michael Paul (say a prayer for his first flight) and Katie while in the perfect weather of San Francisco. Highs in the 60s lows in the 50s. Really looking forward to not sweating 24/7. With this much needed rest will be a break from all things technology. No internet for me, no computer for me, no blog, no twitter and last but not least no cell phone. I am talking a full break from all things ministry to focus in on resting with my primary ministry that is my family. Take a break from blog because there wont be any action and check out some of the blogs I recommend or better yet take a break from the internet too. I’m outta here. Westward bound!
