This bible in a year plan has me reading parts of the bible I have never really given much attention to. Along the way it has been a little “dangerous” to read because in some ways it only encourages me to only be more blunt and honest. Right now I am reading Jeremiah and I love the way God took a young man and spoke through him. Jeremiah was always straight to the point. Check these words out from Jeremiah. My prayer is for every preacher out there to preach with honesty and clarity like the prophet Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 3:1 “If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him and marries another man,should he return to her again? Would not the land be completely defiled?But you have lived as a prostitute with many lovers— would you now return to me?” declares the LORD.
