I gotta be honest. This past week has quite possibly been one of the best weeks of my life second only to my honeymoon. This past week was the first of what will return next year called “GO WEEK.” So what was “go week?” It was basically a mission trip to our campus of FSU. We asked our students to come back early and pay to go on a mission to our own campus. Not only did students pay but almost have of our ministry (over 40%) came back to serve.It was a week of moving in hundreds, driving people on golf carts to places they needed to get to, tons of events, handing out thousands of fliers, serving like mad and praying all the more. So here are some reasons it was one of the best weeks of my life:
- The CCF kids coming back for this in mass still blows my mind
- We fed over 200 people Friday night!
- Lawn party was a huge success
- ReUnion was flat out powerful.
- People raising their hands for prayer was amazing
- over 2o people checking “follow jesus” or “talk with staff” still makes me want to cry
- seeing so many worshippers and servants singing “i will go” after going all week brought me tears every time i turned around
- No doubt the best chalking the campus of FSU has EVER SEEN.
- Statue people and still life were some of the most amazing ideas we have ever had.
- Cops promoting CCF.
- The FSU administration thanking us.
- Golf Cart rides were non stop
- Seeing CCF be the body, serve the campus and share the gospel all at one time
This past week was no doubt something I will never forget and I am already fired up for next year. Now I just wonder how the next 2 weeks in Israel will compare. THANK YOU CCF. I am blessed beyond measure.
