The blog is gonna be down for the next 2 WEEKS as I spend time on an amazing journey to Greece, Israel and then a few days in New York City. Honestly, I have not had much time to think about this trip as we are coming off of an amazing GO WEEK09 with a great group of CCFers who truly blew my mind all week long. Whether or not I have been mentally preparing for the trip I am now on a plane there. I want to thank my AMAZING WIFE KATIE for being so supportive in me going and doing such an awesome job with M.P. I also want to the CCF board for letting me be gone for so long and making this trip possible. Lastly I want to thank the CCF family.They are no doubt an amazing bunch. This past week has seriously been one of the greatest weeks of my life. Anyways back to the trip. The trip I am going on is with Mars Hill Church (Seattle) and will be from NYC to Greece to Israel. A whirlwind of a trip all ten days. Here are some reasons I am not going and one big reason I am/way you can pray for me.
Not why I am going:
- Vacation
- I have lots of money to spend
- To be with Mark Driscoll ( I like the dude and hope to meet him but I’m not that desperate)
- Relax
Why I am going:
- TO EXPERIENCE THE GOD OF THE BIBLE IN A FRESH NEW WAY IN A PLACE I HAVE NEVER BEEN BUT JESUS ALREADY HAS BEEN BEFORE ME.
My prayer (that you can join in with me): Lord, I pray for a fresh wind of your presence during this extended retreat. I pray that I am not moved by man this week but rather by your presence in a way I have never experienced before. Thank you. Amen
