Thoughts from Spring Break and such
- Lasting servants are those who continue to pursue a deeper relationship with God
- If you have a hard time serving you might just have a lack of understanding of the gospel
- Its crazy when the most clear chunk on marriage (Eph 5) really is all about how to love and serve the other person
- Part of maturing is dying to our self(ishness)
- Being back to a family of 3 has been a sweet time
- I still miss the 3 that were ours for 3 months but am excited to know they are doing well
- God has been amazing in that M.P. has taken this whole thing like a champ. Really haven’t seen a single problem
- Thankful for pastors like Erik Braun who tell it to me straight
- I am scared out my mind to go fundraising all summer. But my belief in what God is up to through CCF is greater than any fear
- “If you aren’t willing to grow a set and ask for support from parents and alumni you are weak and dont really believe in the ministry you are doing. If thats the case quit and go pastor a church that will never grow” Erik
- I am so thankful for the ministry of John Piper. Was just blown away by his sermon on why Matt Chandler has a brain tumor. Check it out!
- Watching MP grow up and being able to hold a conversation with him is a joy
- Practically caught up in bible in a year and so eager to get out of Numbers and enjoy Deuteronomy
- Anybody still with me in bible in a year?
- So proud of kelsie for raising up new worship leaders (tim and rachel)
- I went to the shortest wedding ever, literally 4 minutes. But the reception was great and long
- Cracker Barrel breakfast has never disappointed me
- The strawberry festival was the greatest collection of polk county’s “finest” in one place I have ever seen
- Really excited to get out of town with the fellas of CCF.(not too late to sign up)
- Its amazing the things you can do with a logo once you have one.. like put CCF on boxers
- Rays Steel City has pretty good burgers (its no Monks but a close second for sure)
- My son has become obsessed with basketball
- I am proud of that
